The Lockwood Optimum Mortice Lock range is a versatile and easy-to-install locking solution designed for hinged residential aluminium and timber doors. Built with durability and flexibility in mind, it supports a range of locking configurations and operating modes, making it suitable for modern Australian homes and light commercial applications.

  • Designed for hinged aluminium and timber door applications

  • Easily reversible radiused latch bolt for simple, field-selectable handing

  • Durable internal mechanism with stainless steel faceplate

  • Accepts either 7.6 mm or 8 mm spindle for broad hardware compatibility

  • Latch can be deadlocked by key for added security

  • Short throw (13 mm) and long throw (24 mm) locking bolt options available

  • Supports multi-point locking when used with shoot bolts (4-point configuration)

  • Latch-only (1-point) configuration available

  • Suitable for door thicknesses from 32 mm to 45 mm

  • Compatible with Lock Status Indication when used with Palladium Xtra furniture

  • Multiple operating modes supported, including Passage, Safety and Secure modes
