Product Design & Performance

Featuring a narrow, fully sealed construction, these balance spiral units incorporate an oil-tempered carbon steel torsion spring combined with a zinc-plated variable pitch spiral to deliver dependable and adjustable tension. The steel zinc die-cast fixing plug and tough ABS polymer outer casing enhance durability, while the corrosion-resistant stainless steel sash foot plate ensures reliable performance over time. Adjustable spring tension allows precise tuning to suit different sash weights, with optional shock-absorbing stops available separately to reduce impact and wear during operation. Units are supplied in a black finish and provided in trade pack format only.
