This is a commercial-grade extended backset mortice escape deadlock from Lockwood’s Synergy® Series, designed for timber or metal doors where a longer backset is required for handle clearance or architectural alignment. The “Escape” function allows immediate egress from the inside without a key, while still providing secure deadlocking from the outside when a cylinder is fitted.
