Briton 379E Mortice Lock Panic Bar – Silver Enamel

The Briton B379E/SE is a horizontal push bar designed to operate a compatible mortice lock for emergency exit applications. Pressing the bar retracts the latch, allowing immediate escape, while the door automatically locks when closed.

Suitable for aluminium, hollow metal or timber swinging commercial doors, it can be fitted to single doors or the first-opening leaf of double doors. The panic bar is supplied without the mortice lock or external furniture.

Fire Rating

Tested for up to 2 hours on fire door assemblies in accordance with AS 1905.1-2005, Part 1: Fire Resistant Doorsets. The applicable rating depends on the doorset.
